Turquoise Blue boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. The covers have a couple of small marks, old thin lines of sellotape glue only, (these may be able to be removed? ) . In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket. There is a tiny amount of edge-wear, a few marks to the rear cover and some very light smudges/scratches which are only seen if held up to the light o/w this is a VG complete d/j. Some discolouration in lines to the page fore-edges (different batches of paper used). No Inscriptions or Marks. Map Endpapers. 288 pp. Overall an Excellent Very Clean, Tight and Bright copy. "An account of the Battle of Britain which raged from July to September, 1940, opening with daylight German attacks against shipping in, and aircraft over, the English Channel, raids on ports and aerodromes, and from late August night bombing as well, until by mid September German losses proved too many to sustain ........
