Cardiff Western Mail Limited 1921 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Very Good with no dust jacket
Scarlet red boards with deep black titling and decoration to the spine and front cover. No dustjacket (as issued? ). Faint 'light' fading to the spine but all lettering, etc, is very clear and bright- in fact this is the brightest copy i've ever had, usually they are very 'used'! No inscriptions or marks. (xxiv) + 555 pp. Adverts on both front and rear endpapers. As well as the 'Biographies 1920' which complie the main bulk of the book, the contents include : - 'The Royal Family'; 'Royal Visits to the Principality'; 'Welsh Winners of the Victoria Cross'; 'Facts about Wales'; 'Landmarks in Welsh History'; 'Past Worthies of Wales', etc, etc. Overall a Very Clean, Tight and Bright 'VG' copy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
