In the original publisher's decorated card covers. Some stains, old sellotape remains, surface rubs with a little loss here and there, & some creases and edge/corner rubbing, to front cover. Rear cover and spine OK. 184 pp. The Half -Title page is creased and slightly torn away fromn the inner edge, and different sections of the text block are uniformly browned due to the type of paper used. The prints/illustrations are on 'Art' paper, whereas the text is on cheaper 'sugar' paper. Otherwise internally Very Good, no marks or underlining or similar. 78 black and white, Colour, and Monotone illustrations, some full page, of the fashions and ladies of the day. . "A perambulation, a leisurely ramble through Georgian landscapes". An Excellent history/source book for all but particularly for both Historians and Fashionistas! . ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall
