London Spring Books 1964 New Edition Hardcover Very Good- in Good+ dust jacket
Red boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's illustrated dustjacket, which is not price-clipped. This is a doctored ex-library copy with the front endpaper stuck down to the front paste-down. There are marks to the spine of the book and the dustjacket where labels have been removed. There is a blue mark running through to the title page, the reverse of the title page and the next page over. There is a stamp tippexed out and crossed over with pen on the reverse of the title page. The paper is uniformly browned and there are foxing (brown) spots to the rear of the dustjacket. There is also edge-wear and rubbing to the dustjacket corners, otherwise there are NO inscriptions or other marks. (xvi) + 263 pp. Illustrated with b/w line drawings. Books Consulted; Index. Overall, apart from the 'faults', this is a Tight and Secure, 'Good' copy.
