The rear cover has the traces of an old price sticker and an old price 'blacked out'. There is some very light wear to the covers - Slight smudges/light scratches/creases - all fairly negligible. No dustjacket as issued. This book, 'The Tricolour'. - originally published posthumously in 1922 (Dora died in 1918) - was dedicated by her to the Men of the Easter Rising 1916 - but this new edition includes many other of her poems and ballads relating to Ireland from her earlier works. 48 pp. Illustrated in b/w. Contents also include ' A Tribute and some Memories' by Katherine Tynan, as well as Dora's poems, etc. "Dora Sigerson (1866-1918) was an Irish Poet and Sculptor, who after her marriage in 1895 wrote under the name Dora Sigerson Shorter. Her husband was Clement King Shorter, an English journalist and literary critic. She was a major figure of the Irish Literary revival, publishing many collections of poetry from 1893 on.
