The TRUE FIRST Edition hardback with dustjacket. The Dustjacket has the red/yellow moth ( 'Death's Head' moth jacket illustration by Simon Larbalestier ) on a black background, not girl's face and butterfly which is on the later 1989 edition. Black cloth covered boards with bright silver titling to the spine. One tiny 'bump' to the front bottom corner and a small 'crush' to the bottom of the spine. Overall VG covers, and similar dustjacket with a couple of tiny 'nicks' to the corner folds. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks Fine. The reason I have graded it VG MINUS is due to the page edges/fore-edges which are yellowing with age - particularly to the top edges. Internally plain white endpapers. NO Inscriptions or marks. (8) + 294 + (2) pages.
