A Lovely Original copy in yellow cloth with red titling to the spine and front cover and an illustration of Rubbalong in red on the front cover. Very light 'bumping' to the head/tail of the spine from storage but NO damage and with VG, Very Clean covers. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket which has a ' wrap-around ' illustration front to back. Some minor edge chipping, a few 'closed' tears (all of which are now neatly repaired to the reverse of the d/j with clear archive tape) and some very little loss to the very tips of the corners, head/tail of the spine, some light colouring has been used to 'match' and repair at these points, and the d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm cover and looks Near Fine. The page fore-edges have some scattered foxing (light browny) spots/small patches, o/w the book is Near Fine - NO Inscriptions or major marks, (a light brown spot in the blank margin/gutter of pages 26/27 - which shows through slightly on the surrounding pages) otherwise the book looks unread/unused - it's generally so clean, tight and bright. (iv) + 124 pp. Pictorial coloured endpapers and various charming two-toned coloured illustrations in the text by Norman Meredith.
