I the ORIGINAL Publisher's Green cloth boards with Bright Gilt titling and banding to the spine. The front cover/edges (perhaps a quarter) of the front and rear boards have been slightly affected by damp at some point in the past and have a little patchy fading but overall the boards are clean, tight and bright. Head/tail of the spine and corners are lightly 'bumped'. All hinges are tight and secure. The page fore-edges have a little light foxing but are generally clean. The book is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks Near Fine. Internally plain grey endpapers - a little spotted/stained, but generally clean. The front pastedown has a former owners' heraldic bookplate (Fitzwilliams of Cilgwyn) stuck to its centre. A few odd very light foxing (light brown) spots here and there but overall the text block is VERY Clean and Tight. NO Inscriptions or Marks. (6) + 332 pp + (4 pp + 32 pp Book Adverts and Publisher's Catalogue). Contents cover : - 1. A Wife on Her Travels 1867 ( The Engardin - The Bernese Alps) ; 2.
