NO Card Wrappers/Covers. This is the Folding Map only, coloured in outline on paper measuring 22.5" x 20.1" (approx. 57.1 cms x 51 cms) and lacks 6.5 inches of the bottom right Outside Border only. Some age / storage spotting, mainly to the top and the edges. Some light creasing and former fold lines showing. There are some repaired tears and reinforced edges (with clear archive tape) to the rear of the map, and a few tiny holes mainly to the fold areas - most negligible, nothing missing. NO date shown. Overall a clean, clear impression, and these superior County Railway Maps give the Name of every Station, also the Name of the Company each Railway belongs to. Cruchley began publishing their Railway maps in the early 1870s. So I assume this map an early 1870s issue. There were usually several versions of each map from different publishers. The Gall & Inglis issues appear to be a little later dating from the 1880s. Map features include lat/long; scale line; rivers; woods/forests/parks; county borders; roads; railways; telegraph lines and Railways In Progress, etc. The Map can be folded down to small book size, but would be great framed. This County seems quite scarce. See Image. ; MAP = Elephant Folio 22" tall
