In MINT light french mustard colour cloth-bound boards, with the title blind-stamped to the spine, with the author lettered in gold and with a a decorative gold oblong. The front cover is decorated with a 'squared' pattern in blind and an image of a chess knight outlined with a gold block. In the original publisher's pictorial marble chess board dust-jacket. The dust-jacket is not clipped and is complete, with just a little creasing to the head/tail of the dust-jacket. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks FINE. The book and d/j are in the original plain card (stapled) slipcase it originally arrived in.
