A very attractive edition of this little book, 4" x 3", with an ivory, (or ivorine? ) , binding, with a carved decorative front in an oval surround, in good condition. LACKING the central section of the metal clasp. All page edges brightly gilt. A Chromolithographic frontispiece & a similar Chromo decorated title page separated by a tissue guard, followed by a red and black Printed title page. Silk effect endpapers, slightly marked. Inner hinges look to have been reglued at some point. FRENCH TEXT only. Overall good, tight and clean. A translation page giving the copyright to Pellionet Marchet is dated 1867, but I am unsure if this is the date of the book or this is a little later? The Tables des Fetes Mobile shows date starting 1886 and ending 1897 - so I would assume this may be 1886? . An attractive Ivory, or similar, binding. See Images. ; 32mo 4" tall
