A lovely Aquatint plate (print) with original hand-colouring from Daniells' "Voyage Round Great Britain". The Image, within a very light wash-coloured border, measures 165mm x 240 mm, (6.5 " x 9. 5") . There are quite a few tears to the plain broad margin that surrounds the image and a longer older repaired tear to the bottom right corner of the plate. This has been 'repaired' to the rear of the print with masking tape and the tear runs into the very bottom corner of the image just marginally affecting the grey/blue of the sea and the border.
